An investigation has been launched after AC Milan players displayed a banner mocking Inter for their Coppa Italia win.
As reported by Calcio & Finanza (via MilanNews), the FIGC prosecutor has just opened an investigation into an alleged violation of Article 4 of the Sports Justice Code due to the banner displayed by Milan during the celebrations for the Scudetto.
The banner read: “Stick the Coppa Italia in your a**” – aimed at the Nerazzurri for their Coppa victory as they went on to lose the title.
