Cardinale expected to be at Milan’s Champions League clash with Chelsea

AC Milan’s new owner Gerry Cardinale should be in the crowd for tonight’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, according to a report.

MilanNews writes that Milan’s arrival in London for tonight’s match against Chelsea was shown by the fact 2,000 fans were at Wembley BoxPark last night for the fan event which included Alessandro Nesta and Daniele Massaro plus the Scudetto trophy.

The team will of course be roared on by a vocal travelling support too. However, there will be a significant presence in the directors’ seats as Gerry Cardinale is expected at Stamford Bridge for the match.

He will watch the Rossoneri as they look to continue their unbeaten start to their Champions League group stage campaign, while it cannot be excluded that he may also be present at Milan-Juventus on Saturday. The new owner therefore wants to make sure his presence if felt in the biggest of games.
