Allegri praises Milan’s business model and previews the game: “It won’t be easy”

Ahead of tomorrow’s clash between AC Milan and Juventus, Max Allegri spoke to the media at the usual pre-match press conference. He had words of praise for the Rossoneri, who are seven points ahead of his men.

It’s not exactly a secret that Juventus have struggled at the start of this season, registering five draws and as many defeats in the league. Lately, however, the Bianconeri have picked themselves up and are starting to look better.

In his pre-match presser, as cited by IlBianconero.com, Allegri acknowledges that his side cannot talk about the Scudetto as things stand. He also had praise for Milan and the model they have worked within in the last few years.

“Let’s try to achieve a result tomorrow, it won’t be easy against a Milan that has worked very well in a year and a half. Congratulations to Pioli, Milan are fighting for the Scudetto. We cannot think about the Scudetto now, that would be talking about things that don’t make sense. Now Milan are there, we will have to see game by game.

“Tomorrow, three points would be important. We know it’s not easy, Milan score goals, they have excellent characteristics on high balls and counter-attacks. They have players with excellent technique, they come from a long period with many results.

“The Milan model? They have worked well, they have done things in an orderly way. They chose good players and games are won like this. And now they are there fighting for the Scudetto,” he stated.

The game is scheduled for 20:45 CET and although there will only be 5k fans at the stadium, it should still be an exciting one. The rivalry persists no matter the attendance, that’s for sure, and a lot is at stake.
