And ESPN are reporting that Sancho’s arrival means various players will be ‘at risk’ of being sold as United plan a rebuild.

“Every player has a realistic valuation”.

That’s the message to clubs and agents who have started to call the club about the possibility of buying players including Antony Martial and Donny van de Beek.

Several squad players could also be on their way out of Old Trafford as realistic offers will be considered by the club.

Here are 12 players that could be leaving the club in the coming months.

Who should Manchester United cash in on this summer? Comment below

Donny van de Beek

The Dutch international has been a huge disappointment in his debut season in the Premier League after arriving from Ajax 12 months ago.

The midfielder has found himself surplus to requirements behind the likes of Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Fred in the middle of the park.

He was even robbed of the chance to impress Solskjaer ahead of next season at the Euros as he was ruled out through injury just before the tournament started.

Van de Beek has vowed to fight for his place, but United could cut their losses if a reasonable offer was to arrive.

Anthony Martial

Another player who has been blighted by injury this season has been Anthony Martial.

United fans thought they were finally seeing the best of him last term but the Frenchman wasn’t able to build on that due to his spell on the sidelines.

It sums up his time at United really. He shows flashes that resemble one of the most exciting attacking threats in the league, but then the next game can look very ordinary.

There’s a feeling he has never really lived up to the expectations when he was signed from Monaco and perhaps this is the year they go their seperate ways.

Jesse Lingard

The forward revived his career on loan at West Ham and was arguably the most in-form player from January onwards in the whole of England.

But as Lingard has returned to Old Trafford, his future has been up in the air.

The Hammers are keen to sign him on a permanent basis but might be priced out of a move.

Lingard could be a useful player for the Red Devils next season, but there won’t be shortage of interest if they decided to cash in on him with his stock high.

Diogo Dalot

The Portuguese full-back enjoyed a strong second half of the campaign on loan with AC Milan with reports in Italy suggesting the Serie A side were keen on making it permanent.

It’s claimed, however, that United had told Dalot they want him to return to the club despite Milan’s interest.

And now the 22-year-old’s father, Jacinto Teixeira, has reaffirmed those details, explaining that his son will indeed make his return to Carrington.

Likewise to Lingard, United won’t struggle for suitors but he could be a useful addition to the squad next year if he stays.

Andreas Pereira

Pereira threw his United future in doubt when he claimed he would like to extend his Lazio loan spell, but admitted Old Trafford is like a ‘second home to him’.

He Tuttomercatowe : “Future? I would like to stay and play for Lazio again, but this depends on the discussion with United and what they will want to do with me.

“I have a contract with the club; it’s like a second home for me. I have been there since I was 16; I always talk to the people who work for the club.”

The 25-year-old struggled in Italy last season, however, netting one goal and notching four assists in 33 appearances and it’s unlikely he will a part of Solskjaer’s plans moving forward.

Nemanja Matic

The Serbian has been linked with a move to Roma this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to link up with the former Chelsea man.

Matic has struggled for game time in the middle of the park behind Pogba, McTominay and Fred.

His experience means he is still a valuable player to have in the squad, but if Mourinho or another team comes calling, United might think twice about their decision as they look to rake in some funds after Sancho’s arrival.

Paul Pogba

United do not want to lose Pogba, but they might be forced to if he doesn’t sign a new contract.

The club are in talks to extend his current deal which runs out in 2022 meaning he can talks to other teams in January.

They let the Frenchman walk for free once before and they will not let him do it again.

If Pogba doesn’t pen a new deal, United could be forced into selling him so they can get something in return for him.

Youngsters

United could send out James Garner, Amad Diallo, Shola Shoretire, Anthony Elanga, Hannibal Mejbri on loan this season.
