But crunch talks are expected to take place later this week with Spurs chiefs understood to be preparing for the manager’s departure.

It was reported on Monday that Frankfurt boss Glasner is one of the names in the frame to replace Conte.

A permanent successor is set to take over at the end of the season as Ryan Mason assumes the caretaker position until the summer.

Glasner, 48, is one of a number of names in the frame along with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Tuchel.

Frankfurt faced Tottenham twice in the group stage of the Champions League earlier this season – losing away and drawing at home – before they progressed through to the last-16 and were eliminated by Napoli.

And according to Bild, Frankfurt, who are sixth in the Bundesliga, are already looking at life after the Austrian coach.

They are said to be lining up a move for Borussia Dortmund U19 boss Mike Tullberg.

The Danish manager led the Dortmund youth side to the German title with a record average of 2.59 points per game.

He has also helped the likes of Youssoufa Moukoko, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Ansgar Knauff work their way into the Bundesliga.

Tullberg, who played in Denmark, Italy, Scotland and Germany, has been likened in his coaching style to former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.

He is under contract until 2026 but could be enticed by the prospect of a top job in the Bundesliga.
