Real Madrid: Eintracht Frankfurt seriously pursue Raul

Eintracht Frankfurt are serious about trying to hire Raul as their coach for next season. The German club have sent two representatives to Madrid in the past few days to meet with the 43-year-old and to explain their project in detail.

Given that Eintracht Frankfurt and Real Madrid have a good relationship, from the Luka Jovic transfer and the later loan back, the Bundesliga side got in touch with Los Blancos to express their interest in Raul and to ensure they were upfront about their trip.

Raul wants time to make a decision, as he is currently focused on Castilla‘s playoff run. They are fighting for promotion and it’s these good results that have made him an attractive prospect for top-level clubs. Schalke, where he played for two seasons, even emerged as a potential destination for Raul a few months ago.

The benches of Real Madrid‘s first and second teams are two mysteries right now. After the speculation about Zinedine Zidane possibly moving on, now the possibility of Raul leaving for Eintracht Frankfurt has emerged.
