PSG ready to let Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Neymar make Saudi Arabia switch – Paper Round

PSG willing to let Messi join Al-Hilal

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for a summer rebuild by encouraging at least two of their senior players to join Saudi Arabian League teams.

Both Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos are out of contract at the end of the season and Spanish paper Marca says the French club will let them move on, and would also be willing to listen to offers for Neymar.

“Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to convince some of their players to follow into Ronaldo’s footsteps and join a Saudi Arabian side in the summer,” the report states.

“The Ligue 1 champions want to part ways with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Sergio Ramos. As MARCA has already informed, the latter has been negotiating for a potential move to Al Nassr.

“Al-Nassr rivals Al-Hilal are willing to land Messi. In the event they don’t manage to lure him to Saudi Arabia, they could make a move Neymar. The Brazil international is not willing to depart PSG, but he would be open to listen to a potential offer.”

Camavinga unlikely to make United switch

Manchester United hoped to sign Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid, but The Sun claims that the French international midfielder will likely sign fresh terms in Spain, and set up a huge release clause.

“The 20-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2021 for £26million as a long-term replacement for Casemiro,” the paper writes.

“Madrid want a reported £115million for the six-cap French international, with United willing to break their club record to sign him.

“However, Los Blancos have made a bold move in their attempt to lock down Camavinga, which could jeopardise United chances of pinching the player.

“The Spanish team have responded to United’s moves by offering the Frenchman a potential €1billion (£874million) release clause.”

Nagelsmann linked with Spurs switch

The Mirror reports that former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann could be tempted to take over at Tottenham, assuming Antonio Conte parts ways with the Londoners after his recent outburst.

The German has reportedly got a Tottenham shirt, and may be open to quickly getting back to work.

The story claims: “Nagelsmann owned a Spurs shirt after developing “an affinity” for the London club. While specifics have not been given, it has been suggested that the fondness dates back to Mauricio Pochettino’s time in charge at Spurs.

“Nagelsmann, who previously spent time in charge of Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig, was reportedly eyed up by Spurs in 2021 when they sought a replacement for Jose Mourinho. Bayern’s interest left that move dead in the water, though, and Spurs hired Nuno as their permanent manager before binning the Portuguese after just 10 league games and hiring Conte.”

Qataris yet to make second United bid

The Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani bid from Qatar was expected as Sir Jim Ratcliffe had also submitted his to buy Manchester United, but the Mail suggests that there is a delay in him finalising the details, which may hamper his success.

The paper states: “The Qatari bid for Manchester United remained outstanding on Friday night, but sources close to the group were adamant that it would be forthcoming.

It had been thought that the team working on an offer from Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani would submit their bid before close of business on Friday.

However, late on Friday night it had failed to land in the US.

“Sportsmail understands that the offer will be forthcoming and that the finer details were being ironed out. The US merchant bank Raine, which is running the process, had granted further time following Wednesday night’s initial ‘soft’ deadline, and will wait on the bid’s arrival.

“But the delay has done little to boost the chances of the Qatar group. The opposing offer from Ineos supremo Sir Jim Ratcliffe was submitted on Thursday, after they were also given an extension.”
