Raiola is arguably the most famous agent in football with an enormous roster of elite clients on his books.

And the 53-year-old, who has already negotiated some of the biggest moves in football, is set to ramp up his work in the coming months.

It’s already anticipated that some his bigger clients, such as Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland, could be on the move next summer.

But there remains a possibility that Raiola could work his magic and engineer a deal for them to make an exit earlier than anticipated when the transfer window reopens.

Mirror Football takes a look at five of Raiola’s clients who could be set for pastures new in January.

Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is still yet to sign a new deal with Manchester United

Much has been made of Pogba’s contract situation at Old Trafford, and with just a handful of months remaining on his deal, the situation isn’t any clearer.

The Frenchman started the season in sizzling form but was on the bench for Manchester United ‘s dramatic 3-2 win over Atalanta in the Champions League in midweek.

Pogba played a key role in that revival – indicating why United are desperate to hang on to the midfield maestro.

However, if he isn’t willing to pen fresh terms to remain in Manchester, January is the last chance for United to attempt to recoup at least some of the huge £89million fee they forked out for the ex- Juventus star back in 2016.

Even for a club of United’s size, losing a near-£90m player for nothing five years later is pretty much unthinkable – meaning a January exit could still be on the cards.

Erling Haaland

Could Erling Haaland be prised away from Borussia Dortmund before next summer?

Borussia Dortmund ‘s star striker remains one of the most coveted players in the world.

Haaland has been linked with a host of European heavyweights over the past 12 months – although the majority have been scared off by Dortmund’s obscene £160m asking price.

It’s almost been accepted that the Norwegian will be off next summer when a £68m release clause kicks in.

But it’s far from a foregone conclusion that Haaland sees the Bundesliga season out.

With such a vast number of admirers, it’s not inconceivable that someone could attempt to steal a march on their rivals by stumping up a world-record fee for Europe’s elite marksman.

Ryan Gravenberch

Ajax ace Gravenberch is the latest star from the Dutch side to attract interest from overseas.

Vultures circled over the Johan Cruiff arena following Ajax’s sensational Champions League run a couple of years ago, with the likes Donny van de Beek, Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong all snapped up in big-money deals.

Both Liverpool and United have been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old.

De Telegraaf reports that Ajax management have made contact with Raiola over a lucrative new deal to keep the talented teen out of the clutches of his big-money admirers.

Regardless of whether Gravenberch remains in the Eredivisie or not in January, it seems as though Raiola is nailed on to profit.

Matthijs de Ligt

It doesn’t feel like that long ago that Raiola negotiated de Ligt’s £68m transfer to Juventus.

But, just two years on from the Dutch defender’s arrival in Turin, he’s heavily rumoured to be on the move.

The 22-year-old is reportedly open to a move away from Serie A, where Juventus have continued to struggle.

And early indications are that Raiola has been busy circulating the defender’s name ahead of a switch in the New Year or next summer.

Both Manchester City and Chelsea ‘s names have cropped up in conversations related to the former Ajax star.

Stefan de Vrij

Inter Milan defender de Vrij was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, and it remains a possibility that he could still make the switch to England.

Raiola’s client played a pivotal part in Inter’s surge to the Scudetto last year, so it should come as no surprise that they remain keen to tie him down with a new deal.

He actually penned a new contract earlier this year, but Tuttosport reported a couple of weeks ago that Inter would facilitate a move for a substantial fee.

So it wouldn’t be a surprise if Raiola were to look into a possible Premier League move once again in a couple of months’ time.
