Manchester United completed the first leg of their Europa League semi-final over Roma on Thursday night amid rumours that a swap deal could be on the cards between the clubs.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side still gunning to add his first trophy as United boss and the club firmly on course for a top two finish domestically, it has been a positive campaign at Old Trafford.
However, they will doubtless be looking to build on their current squad ahead of next season so that they can challenge both for the Premier League title and in the Champions League.
With that in mind, here is a look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding United.

Roma exchange possible
United take on Italian giants Roma in this evening’s Europa League semi-final and there are fresh reports the clubs could take part in a player-exchange deal this summer.
The Red Devils are said to be monitoring midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo, the highly-rated 21-year-old midfielder of the Giallorossi.
As cited by Roma News and as highlighted by Sport Witness from La Repubblica, the Italian international is high on the Old Trafford radar despite currently recovering from another knee ligament injury – meaning he has not featured this campaign.
His fitness problems have potentially lowered his asking price and United are not being put off by his injury record, with a swap deal with Donny van de Beek suggested.
However, Zaniolo is the prized asset for the Rome club and structuring a deal could prove difficult.

United renew Sancho attempts
Manchester United will launch a fresh attempt to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho this summer, report the Express.
The England international was reportedly high on United’s transfer shortlist last year but his price tag – said to be in excess of £100million – ensured the deal did not progress.
However, Sancho – who scored 23 goals and provided 22 assists last term – may have a lower valuation this summer due to the transfer market and his club potentially missing out on Champions League football.
This season he has 12 goals and 14 assists despite a temporary dip in form, and the 21-year-old remains one of the brightest prospects in world football.
Umtiti an option
One of the priorities at Old Trafford this summer is the signing of a new central defender and Barcelona ’s Samuel Umtiti is said to be an option.
El Mundo Deportivo build on reports from England of United’s interest in the Frenchman – who has been plagued with fitness issues in recent years.
The France international has been limited to just five league starts this season and is behind Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Ronald Araujo and Oscar Mingueza in the Blaugrana pecking order, while Eric Garcia is likely to arrive this summer.
The Catalan giants are keen to offload Umtiti due to his wages and lack of first-team opportunities, but he is just one of a number of names on United’s defensive shortlist.
