Klopp eyeing Dembele
Ousmane Dembele has emerged as a target as Klopp looks to upgrade his forward line after a season of struggle in the Premier League.
Dembele is entering the final year of his contract at Barcelona, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Klopp is a fan of the Frenchman and is considering refreshing his strike force.
Despite Liverpool ’s interest, the Spanish news organisation claims Barca are hopeful that Dembele will sign a new deal to stay at the Camp Nou.
Reds suffer Haaland blow

Liverpool are just one of a host of clubs who have been linked with Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland in the past, but the Reds have suffered a blow to their chances.
Haaland has been in remarkable form for Dortmund, scoring 33 goals this season, and as revealed by Mirror Sport, that has led to Manchester City making him their top target for this summer’s window.
They state that City view Haaland as a direct replacement for Sergio Aguero and as a result are “not actively pursuing” Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
In a knock to Liverpool’s chances, it is understood that City are willing to use the sell-on clause they had inserted into the deal that took Jadon Sancho to Dortmund as a £15million bargaining.
Sarr speaks out
Watford winger Ismaïla Sarr has spoken out after being heavily linked with a move to Anfield.
Sarr was believed to be among Klopp’s targets last summer, while his agent told PanAfricanFootball in February that his client was close to moving to the Reds in January.
But the 23-year-old has now made clear his commitment to his current club, with Watford nine points clear in second place in the Championship.
“I think they are just rumours because I’m enjoying it here. I still have three years on my contract and I’m focused on Watford and I want to say,” he told the Watford Observer.
