Haaland, Nwaneri make PL history, Bayern’s 87-game streak ends



Arsenal and Manchester City racked up comfortable wins to continue their battle at the top of the Premier League table, with Tottenham also not far behind following a high-scoring win over Leicester. Real Madrid came up trumps in El Derbi, defeating Atletico Madrid to go top of LaLiga, although Barcelona ensured they weren’t far behind with a dominant win over Elche.

There were shocks in store across Europe, as Bayern Munich, Juventus and Inter Milan suffered losses, but PSG and Borussia Dortmund ensured they remained top of the table with important wins over Lyon and Schalke.

Manchester City are now unbeaten in their last 22 away league matches with a record of 16-0-6 (W-L-D). Their last league loss away from home was their first match of last season against Tottenham.

The Arsenal teen is also the youngest in English top-flight history, narrowly edging out Derek Forster who made his debut for Sunderland in 1964, aged 15 years and 184 days.

Son Heung-Min scored a 13 minute hat-trick for Tottenham against Leicester. It was the 16th fastest hat-trick in Premier League history and the fastest since Mohamed Salah scored a 12 minute hat-trick last October against Manchester United.
