FC Bayern will be without Niklas Süle, Leon Goretzka and Lucas Hernández, among others, for the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday. “Lucas has a bruise, Niklas and Leon have muscular problems,” said Hansi Flick in the digital press conference on Friday. “As for Leon and Lucas, we hope they can be back for the game in Paris. Niklas will be out against PSG and probably also in the match afterwards. We’ll have to wait and see how things develop,” the head coach continued.
Marc Roca, who missed the match against PSG during the week, will also not make a return to the squad against Union. In addition, Alphonso Davies (red-card suspension), Robert Lewandowski (ligament strain in his right knee), Corentin Tolisso (ruptured tendon) and Douglas Costa (rehabilitative training after a hairline fracture in his metatarsal) will be absent against the Irons.
