ERLING Haaland and Jude Bellingham were stunned as minnows St Pauli dumped holders Borussia Dortmund out of the German Cup.
All the transfer interest in Dortmund’s two superstars was overshadowed by Bundesliga 2 leaders St Pauli pulling off one of their greatest wins.

Manchester United and City target Haaland did manage to bag a penalty consolation but Bellingham slumped to the floor at the final whistle, holding his head in shock at the 2-1 last-16 defeat.
Dortmund’s top-flight rivals Cologne also crashed out to second-tier opposition, exiting to fallen giants Hamburg on penalties.
But unlike Cologne, five-time cup winners Dortmund fielded a strong team.
Togo striker tucked home Marcel Hartel’s cut-back from close in for St Pauli’s fourth-minute opener.
Home keeper Dennis Smarsch then foiled Thorgan Hazard and Marco Reus as Dortmund fought back.
And Haaland fired high as the visitors upped the tempo even further against a team winless for their past three matches.
But St Pauli turned the tide dramatically early in the second period.
Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel thwarted a header from a corner by Austrian frontman Guido Burgstaller.
But St Pauli’s momentum was lost when Jakov Medic handled in his own box, enabling Haaland to drill home a spot-kick reply on 58 minutes.
Dortmund roared forward in pursuit of a leveller.
All they could produce, though, were meek efforts from Bellingham and Donyell Malen as St Pauli held on for a famous win.
At least for Haaland it distracts talk away from his claims Dortmund are pushing him to make a decision on his future.
The second-placed Bundesligsa side hit back, saying they were ‘surprised’ by the Norwegian’s comments.
