The move sees Edozie follow in the footsteps of the likes of Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham, Reiss Nelson and Reece Oxford.

Like Edozie, Sancho left City and went on to star for Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho played 135 times for Dortmund, netting 50 goals and registering 64 assists.

He then sealed a big money move to Manchester United last summer, but struggled to adapt to the Premier League.

Bellingham left Birmingham for Dortmund as a 17-year-old and has grown into a first-team regular and an England international.
