Arsenal news LIVE: Tottenham and Man Utd matches MOVED, Marcus Thuram transfer battle, Barcelona target Charlie Patino


ARSENAL’S bitter North London derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur and reverse fixture against Manchester United has been rescheduled.

The Gunners were initially scheduled to play Spurs on Saturday, January 14 while their Manchester United encounter was on Saturday, January 22.

But the Premier League latest TV picks have confirmed that each game will be a day later.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are facing a transfer battle for Borussia Monchengladbach star Marcus Thuram, it’s been reported.

Thuram, 25, is reportedly high on the Gunners’ transfer list but he’s also being monitored by the likes of Liverpool, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.

Elsewhere, Barcelona are looking at signing youngster Charlie Patino, who is impressing on loan at Blackpool, according to reports in Italy.

    Arsenal and Manchester United are set to duke it out in the transfer market as Inter Milan struggle to tie down Milan Skriniar to a new deal, according to reports.

    Skriniar, 27, has been a long-term transfer target for a number of top Premier League sides.

    Inter CEO Beppe Marotta had claimed he was “confident” of striking a deal with the Slovakian.

    However, according to 90min, Inter failed to agree new terms with the defender in time for their self-imposed deadline set for November 13.

    However, Mikel Arteta’s team will now head to the Tottenham Stadium the following day after it was moved to a 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday 15 January.

    And their home clash with Manchester United has also been put back from Saturday to Sunday.

    That means they will now take on Erik ten Hag’s side at the Emirates at 4:30pm on Sunday 22 January.

    Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk has handed Arsenal a massive transfer boost as he has insisted that he would “choose” them over Real Madrid on one condition.

    Mudryk told Vlada Sedan’s YouTube channel: “Yeah. I check on them on MyScore and know when they’re playing I can check on them. I also watch them too. They are a very dynamic side, in general not just in controlling possession but also in scoring goals.

    “From a purely hypothetical perspective, if there was the option of being a bench player for Real Madrid or a starter for Arsenal, I’d probably choose Arsenal. But it’s a tough question and involves a lot of factors in my answer.

    “I would first want to know from the head coach that even if I wasn’t a guaranteed starter, that I’d receive a chance. Essentially I need to hear directly from the manager what he envisages my role in his side to be. The team’s style of play will play a role. It’s very important to me”
