Erling Haaland’s cousin Albert Tjaaland, 17, scores just minutes after coming on as a sub in pro debut for Molde

ERLING HAALAND’S cousin Albert Tjaaland is writing the same Molde story as the strike sensation after the 17-year-old netted minutes into his professional debut.

Late sub Tjaaland rounded off a 4-1 Norwegian Cup win over fourth-tier Spjelkavik in stoppage time – four years after Haaland also scored in his first game for Molde.

And the way Tjaaland drilled home a one-on-one chance after being slipped through suggests he can match mroe than just the opening chapter in Haaland’s tale.

Molde boss Erling Moe has already tried to cool the fanfare over Tjaaland.

But that job will be far harder now after youth-teamer Tjaaland took just ten minutes of pro action to score.

Moe told Eurosport back in April: “I have seen some of it (hype) on social media.

“He is an exciting young boy who really has some exciting qualities, so I think it must be possible to calm down a bit, yes.

“It’s a bit like that when you post something on social media at the moment, it spreads like wildfire.

“He has a great future ahead of him if he does the everyday things 100 per cent and properly.

“I think Erling is a few steps ahead yet.”

Haaland has notched 57 goals in 59 matches for German giants Dortmund after also blitzing records for Austrians RB Salzburg.

And Chelsea might feel their chances of landing him have increased after Dortmund reportedly agreed a £25,7m deal for PSV Eindhoven frontman Donyell Malen.
