Di Marzio: Probable Milan XI to face Torino

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make a slight change to the 3-5-2 system that he used against Inter for the game against Torino on Friday, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio for PazzaDiFanta, the Milan boss shouldn’t completely abandon the 3-5-2 initially seen in Sunday’s match against Inter, but could change it to a 3-4-1-2 with the attacking duo formed by Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud and a playmaker in behind.

While Ismael Bennacer’s condition is improving he is not expected to be back for Friday, so Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic should be the double pivot behind the playmaker Brahim Diaz.

In defence the only doubt seems to be whether Malick Thiaw or Matteo Gabbia will partner Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori, but the Italian centre-back appears to have a slight advantage at the moment.

Probable Milan XI (3-4-1-2): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Gabbia; Calabria, Krunic, Tonali, Theo Hernandez, Diaz; Leao, Giroud.
